Hardware, software, networks, security, installation and configuration
We'll help you choose your hardware based on where you work and the software applications you need. You'll need some proper servers (e.g. with Microsoft Server, SQL server, and perhaps Exchnage), network logons and profiles / home drives saved on the server. We can supply all the hardware, which is a more straightforward approach, or you can purchase it yourself based on our advice. You may already have some of the hardware you need. We'll install it for you, set up the network and configure everything so it all works properly.
Multiple sites
You'll need everyone working from the same information. We'll implement a Virtual Private Network, Microsoft Distributed File System and Citrix or Microsoft Terminal server to keep all the information synchronised and up to date.
Support

Microsoft Exchange email on your own server may be a good option for you, and that's what we've implemented for most of our customers in the past, but more businesses today are choosing hosted email: either hosted Exchange or Google Apps email. Forester Research estimates that businesses save around 60% of costs by choosing Google Apps mail rather than Exchange. Some very large companies have chosen Google Apps email.
