Windows 10 Storage sense is the initial solution for freeing up space on your local hard drive.
1. Open Settings
2. Open System
3. Click on Storage
4. Under the Storage sense click on "Change how we free up space"
5. Under "Temporary files" tick the files that you want to delete, recommended would be "temporary files my apps aren't using" ; "Files that have been in the recycle bun for over 30 days" ; "Files in the downloads folder that haven't changed for 30 days"
6. Under "Free up space now" there may also be an option to delete the previous installations of windows.
7. Click the "Clean Now" button to free up the space immediately.
