Command prompt option missing

Windows 10

Error / Condition

When right clicking on the start button there is no Command Prompt option

1. Right click the Windows Start button
2. Click on Settings
3. Click Personalization
4. Click Taskbar
5. Click the option to "Replace Command Prompt with Windows Powershell"

There is an option to edit the registry to enable the command prompt on the right click context menu, for reference the registry that needs to be changed is in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell\cmd , and you need to change permissions on this, and then also edit the HideBasedOnVelocityId DWORD, rename it to ShowBasedOnVelocityId. telanova do not recommend users change registry settings.
